D-S-C Cold Range Info:

All D-S-C IDPA matches and practices are conducted using a COLD RANGE.

Firearms must be:

1. Unloaded with no magazine inserted
2. Holstered or bagged, no handling your firearm except:
   1. At the shooting line under the direction of a Safety Officer (SO)
   2. In a designated Safe Area
3. Hammer/striker down on a empty chamber/empty cylinder

Safe Area

The safe area is the place where you can inspect, ready, holster or bag your firearm. You may not handle any ammunition or loaded magazines in the Safe Area!

CPL

CPL holders may come TO the range "hot" but once there, they must find and ask a safety officer to unload them at the firing line. A Safety Officer can also load you up for leaving the range as well.
